What format are the photos in? All Africa Imagery photos are in JPG format.
Do you add photos on a regular basis? Yes. We add new material from time to time. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that we have posted.
Can I submit photos to sell? Right now the only photos that we sell are the ones taken by Africa Imagery and it's partners. We do consider adding other photographers to our stable but the material they have must add to the collection. For example, we have over 1 000 images of elephants and 500 of lions - we don't need any more unless they show exceptional behaviour or beauty.
How do I get High Res images? Once you have done your searches, you can save images to a folder on your computer by right clicking the large image that you see after clicking a thumbnail and selecting "Save Image As". Choose the images you want and e-mail us the image number (for example 61250.jpg or 325086.jpg), let us know what you'll be using them for and we'll get back to you with a price. We can then e-mail you the pix, burn them to DVD or upload them to a ftp site.
Are there any restrictions on my use of the Africa Imagery photos that I download? Yes. While Africa Imagery offers great freedom of use, we do not allow the redistribution of our photos, or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format.
Do you undertake commissioned photography? Yes, we certainly do. Keep in mind what Africa Imagery is about - wildlife, culture and travel and so it is in these areas that we work. We don't have a studio and we do not do family portraits. But, if you are doing a tourism brochure, a web site, your lodge needs to be photographed or you'd like us to do a magazine story, we would really like to talk to you.
How do I pay for image usage? If we've worked with you before we will send you an invoice after supplying the images and that will need to be paid within 30 days. For new accounts, we ask that you transfer the usage fee into our account by EFT and once this is cleared we'll send you the High Res files.
Do you supply Royalty Free images? No, But we do sell multiple usage rights and this may very well suite your needs. Please call or send us an e-mail to have a chat about it.
