Gerhard Dreyer

Gerhard passed away in January 2000, but his love of nature lives on in his magnificent photography, more particularly in his images of the beautiful Western Cape region in South Africa. His work has appeared in numerous publications like the prestigious Getaway and Africa Geographic magazines as well as in calendars, brochures and websites. Before his death he published several books, among them Beautiful Garden Route and West Coast: A Tourist Guide . The publication of his book Wild Flowers after his death is a fitting tribute to his photographic skills and his enduring interest in the land and its conservation.
